2007 ACM/ICPC Arab & North Africa
The 2007 Arab & North Africa 10th Regional Contest
was hosted by the Arab Academy for Science and Technology
in Alexandria, Egypt, 3-5 December 2007.
All activities took place at the Academy except the opening
which was held at the historic & prestigious
Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The Participants
44 teams from 27 Universities attended the contest.
Nine countries were represented: Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman,
Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates.

The Contest
The problem-set was made of 10 problems.
Almost all teams managed to solve problem-A ("Judging Olympia").
No team managed to solve problem-G ("Let's Go to the Movies")
and no team attempted to solve problem-I ("Moving Sticks").

The contest environment supported three programming languages:
C, C++, and Java.
Only two teams used C, and the majority favored C++.
