2006 ACM/ICPC Arab & North Africa
The 2006 ACM/ICPC Arab & North Africa 9th Regional Contest
was hosted by Al Akhawayn University
in Ifrane, Morocco, Nov 30 -- Dec 2, 2006.
All activities took place at the University except the awards ceremony which took place in the historical city of Fez.
The Participants
42 teams from 25 Universities attended the contest.
Eight countries were represented: United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and the host country: Morocco.

The Contest
The problem-set was made of 9 problems.
All problems were solved.
Problem-D ("Walk Like an Egyptian") proved to be the easiest.
Problems-C ("Wooden Blocks") and -I ("Casting Out Nines") were popular.
Only one team attempted (successfully) to solve Problem-H ("A-to-Z").
